Not detracting away from the building itself, this log cabin provides generous interior space and the well crafted features such as the three full length windows which filter light into the interior adding a heightened sense of space. We believe this building to be a perfect garden office area away from the distractions that can be encountered when working at home, while also working perfectly as a Hobby room, den or Summerhouse with plenty of natural light.


Underpinning this unique log cabin concept at this amazing price is second to none craftsmanship highlighted by the use of interlocking construction maximising the structural integrity of this 19mm cladded garden building.


Features

The cabin itself has a generous interior space and well crafted features such as the styrene glazed full length Georgian windows and doors, which allow daylight to stream in to the building, and intricate details such as antique styled handles and hinges. The traditional roof pitch provides a high ridge height providing plenty of head clearance for the average height adult.

The Huntsman has been designed so the windows are interchangeable. This allows you to position the side window on either of the side walls.

19mm Interlocking Boards - Single T&G for stability and durability.

11mm T&G Floor - We Provide you with T&G floor boards, which provide a sturdy and aesthetic finish.

11mm T&G Roof - The roof is constructed using 11mm Tongue and Groove boards nailed into place on pre-cut roof purlins.

Styrene Glazed Doors/Windows - There are a total of 3 windows; 1 Windows on each side and 2 windows on the front, which have a fixed bottom section and bottom opening section; all are constructed with integral Georgian styled glazing bars. Glazing comes as a single sheet for ease of assembly.

Huntsman I: Fully Glazed Style Single Door - This provide plenty of light with integral Georgian glazing bars as standard. Glazing comes as a single sheet for ease of assembly.

Huntsman II: Fully Glazed Style Double Door - These provide plenty of light with integral Georgian glazing bars as standard. Glazing comes as a single sheet for ease of assembly.

Traditional Styled Roof Line - Roofline similar to tradtional English houses.

Roofing Felt as Standard - The Pathfinder Huntsman I and II come as standard with all felt covering and fixings as standard at no extra cost. The felt used is a green mineral felt which is of higher grade than cheaper felt types such as sand felt.

Designed and Made in England - The BillyOh Pathfinder Huntsman I and II have both been designed using state of the art software in the UK and manufactured in our own UK based factory.

Easy Assembly and Maintenance

Full Self-assembly instructions are supplied with your order along with all the required fixtures and fittings. Simply place pre-assembled floors together, add the surrounds and place the walls level by level to create your new building.

We recommend you treat the building following construction with a high quality preservative for maximum durability.

FULL GLAZED DOOR

The Huntsman utilises a fully glazed georgian styled door, allowing lots of natural light into the cabin. The door is hung using traditional styled hinges.

EXTENDED WINDOW

Floor to ceiling georgian bared windows allow more natural light into to the BillyOh log cabin whilst ensuring a classic traditional design aesthetic is maintained. The top section of the window is bottom opening where as the bottom section of the window remains fixed.

CONSTRUCTION

All parts of this cabin are constructed using modern wood working equipment. The 19mm interlocking timbers together with substantial framing ensure that the building is both stable and rigid.

Log Cabin Features

Most of our Log Cabin Buildings Feature;

All boards are pre-machined to length and they interlock together increasing strength and durability

The timbers in log cabins are substantially thicker including 19mm, 28mm, 44mm and 70mm. This thickness increases the insulation properties of the building and comes in single or double Tongue & Groove depending on timber thickness.

Log cabin boards are naturally finished, ensuring a blank canvas ready for varnishing, painting or treating in any colour desired.

Treating the building is required to conform to the warranty and to maintain the building. Wood stains are available in 4 colours for each product; Cedar Red, Harvest Gold, Ever Green and Dark Brown.

Log Cabins are supplied with either; Solid Sheet, T&G Pre-Assembled sections or Individual T&G board floors. T&G floors are more heavy duty and of premium quality.

Cabins are glazed using either; Styrene, Single Glazed Glass or Double Glazed Glass. Double glazing is the most premium.

The BillyOh Playhouses, Pathfinders, Frontiers and Pioneers all come as standard with green mineral felt. Those that do not come as standard include this as an optional extra.

Premium roofing shingles are available on a selection of the buildings. These are available in Green, Grey, Black and Red Tiles.

Due to the individual boards construction, assembly time is more time consuming, why not add our assembly service if available in your area.

All buildings come with screws, glazing and ironmongery required for assembly

Each building comes with stage by stage instructions, with individual part identification and cutting lists.

Buildings with an offset door and window can be reversed so that the door is on either the left or the right. Providing that the window side is the same length as the plain side the windows can be placed either side.

BillyOh Playhouses, Pathfinder, Frontier and Pioneer ranges are both manufactured and designed in the UK. The remaining buildings have been designed in the UK.

"very, happy with cabin and service"

"Hi everyone, this is part one of a three part feedback review. This part will deal with the ordering, delivery, the cabin itself and hints and tips, then, when the cabin is up and ready to 'live in' I'll come back with the hows and whys of assembly, and lastly I'll be back six months from now for an in depth user review of how it has performed. Why? Because when I was looking for the right cabin, I found so many short and sharp reviews ('great product, delivered on time' or 'poor quality, delivery driver was unhelpful') that didn't help me with my buying decision in any way - in fact it delayed the decision whilst I trawled the net trying to cross relate other reviews. The first thing I noticed was that Kybotech had some negative feedback. As someone who makes his living on the internet, rather than take this as a negative, I found it completely refreshing. Think about it, a company as big as Kybotech/Gardenbuildings direct could choose to stifle any negative reviews, and only publish those that are positive. So a big plus for me was that there were actual negative reviews allowed on the site. OK - here we go with the delivery part of this review....I ordered the 13x11 cabin on Tuesday and took on board the disclaimer that it could take up to five weeks for delivery, but I had a delivery confirmation phone call from the couriers within three days. I agreed on a delivery date and sat back, a little worried about the neg feedback I had read on this site about the delivery process, but I was willing to give them a chance. Four days later I needed to change my delivery date because of a business commitment (you need to be in all day, as a specific time can't be guaranteed). The courier couldn't have been more helpful, and changed the date without a qualm. But expect confirmation from them early - they start work at 7am and you could get a call well before 8am). The day arrived, and so did the cabin, flat packed on a low loader at 2.30pm. If you have read bad things about the delivery, that must have been another driver, because mine was absolutely helpful in every way. Be ready to unpack the cabin from its plastic packing whilst it is still on the truck, and take it piece by piece to where you are storing it prior to assembly. (Big Point 1 - if you are going to have a gap between delivery and assembly, you will need to store the cabin fittings in the dry, either in a garage or under a tarp, as the wood is untreated and will warp if left out in the rain). The whole delivery process took about 30 minutes whilst the driver helped me move the§ cabin down my drive. (Big Point 2 - if you are frail or elderly, you might need to get some help to move the wood from truck to house - the drivers job is just to deliver it to your house and leave it palletted up at the top of your drive). I then decided to completely check every item against the inventory provided in the assembly plans because I had read elswhere here about missing bits and the length of time it took to source replacement parts. Please, take the time to do this, as its so much easier to find something missing at this point, and get it replaced quickly than say, getting the walls half up to find one piece of tongue and groove wall missing, which means leaving your cabin half done whilst the part comes through. Every item has its own inventory number, and by checking everything, you will be able to give that number to customer service to expedite a quick turnround of any missing bit. That said, the hour it took my wife and I to work through each part and tick it off helped twofold. Firstly it helped find any missing parts (and there weren't any - in fact there were excessive items provided in all the important areas, walls, ceiling, windows etc.) and secondly, handling and identifiying all the bits helps you gain a real in depth knowledge of how the cabin fits together. The assembly instructions are quite adequate, but you will need a little bit of woodworking experience (Big Point 3 - by woodworking experience I don't mean putting together Ikea tables here - for example the floor is tongued and grooved timber that will need to be assembled perfectly square before you attempt to put the walls up - if you doubt you can do it, get help). The wood looks good quality, with well machined cutouts, but even if you found a piece that wasn't up to scratch, with this cabin being made in the UK, I wouldn't foresee a problem getting the missing bit to you in a few days. Be prepared to give up a third of your garage to this cabin prior to assembly - there's a lot of wood involved in the 13x11 one! Well, there you are for part one. The ordering was painless, and the one time I had to contact their call centre gave me the info I needed. I Couldn't fault the delivery, (even though I messed them about), the delivery driver was really helpful (on a really hot day), and the quality of the cabin appears to be first class. I'll be back in a week or two with how the assembly went. Hope this helped."
